Green Mountain Grills

Lake Fireplace & Spa is an authorized dealer of Green Mountain Grills. Green Mountain is fairly new to the grilling market, but they’re quickly making a name for themselves with their line of pellet smokers. Based in Reno, Nevada, Green Mountain Grills are top of the line, but very affordable. Green Mountain also produces a line of sauces and rubs that will help you bring out the mouthwatering flavor in everything you grill.

We cook on a Green Mountain or one of our other grills just about every Saturday at Lake Fireplace & Spa, so visit our store to see one in action.

Why Do You Want A Green Mountain Grill?

  • Flavor: Food tastes better when cooked over real wood. Green Mountain pellets are made with clean, kiln-dried sawdust, with the flavor molecules of the wood totally intact
  • Ease: Simply turn it on and you’re on your way to gourmet. No more messing with propane tanks or fiddling with charcoal and lighter fluid. Just fill the pellet hopper and flip the switch.
  • Affordability: Green Mountain Grills are top of the line, but you don’t have to pay top of the line prices. Now every backyard chef can afford a pellet grill.
  • Quality: Green Mountains are heavy duty grills and no stone was left unturned in their development. These grills are made with the best materials to ensure durability and longevity. Every Green Mountain Grill is also backed by a manufacturer’s warranty.

How does it work?

A motor turns an auger which feeds pellets into a firebox. Inside, a hot rod automatically ignites the pellets and a combustion fan keeps them burning. A fan inside the hopper maintains positive pressure which prevents burn-back in the auger tube. A sensor mounted inside the grill sends data to the on-board computer ten times every second, and the controller adjusts the air and pellet flow to maintain the temperature you set.
